Amazing super beautiful location to stay. They have bikes and motorbikes to rent. I would suggest to rent a motorbike to go around. Grab would be a bit difficult to get. The laundry service was great and got it done in one day. Try their omelette for breakfast, it is out of the world!! The staff were nice too.

The staff should be teaching every hotel what customer service means. They sent regular WhatsApp updates on the weather/flooding situation as we traveled from Hanoi after the typhoon. They brought meals to our room when the flooding at the hotel was too deep. They cooked for us even though they had to turn the power off to most of the hotel because of the flooding. The location is beautiful! Since you are staying away from most things they do have scooters and bicycles to rent. It is a family run hotel and they are all just the kindest, friendliest, most helpful people that go above and beyond for their guests.

Lovely location set just outside the village. Large rooms and nice swimming pool. Fantastic surrounding scenery and gardens with hammocks. Good food at restaurant with plenty of choice. Staff were happy to let us stay on site long after we checked out.

Having previously stayed at The Tran Am retreat before,my wife and I were aware of how good it is. The location is excellent. A very convenient place to start you walks or cycle around the beautiful landscape that surround the retreat. The rooms are very clean and house keeping of a high standard. The bed comfortable and pillows soft. It is a very peaceful place to stay and as a light sleeper I appreciate that. Staff are friendly and attentive and always ready to assist. If you need to make any travel arrangements,talk to Sam. He will take care of everything at reasonable cost. I cannot praise this establishment enough.We had a fantastic stay. I thank all the staff there for making our visit a very pleasant one.

Tucked in a perfect location in Trang An. It sits right on the river with a quiet road running in the front of it. They rent mopeds and bicycles, which make exploring Ninh Binh quite convenient. The staff was very kind, welcoming, and helpful. They have a nice booklet with suggestions for the area as well. A lot of cute restaurants within 20 minutes of walking as well. The pool is extremely clean and meticulously kept. The beds are comfortable.

Tranquil. Clean. Great service. The above summarises our stat at Trang An Retreat. If you stay in Tam Coc, you will face constant honking. If you stay anywhere else in Trang An, you will not get the service of Trang An Retreat. Our guy was seriously always checking in on us, giving great suggestions, helping us book things. We got stuck in Van Long Wetlands and couldn’t get a ride back. We contacted Trang An Retreat and a driver arrived in 20 minutes, and was 20% cheaper than the Grab rates. That all said, this isn’t a western resort with the softest Sateen sheets and goose feather filled pillows. The bathroom is nice but not resort level. You can’t fill up a bathtub with hot water before the water goes cold. All that should be expected for the price and location. What you do get is an extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent hotel in Trang An. We went there from a motor bike from "Tam Coc ".Very helpful receptionist and the owner of the hotel. Hotel location is very good .It was easy to arrive there because of our bike ,if not you have to go about 01 km in a under construction road. that's no harm ,after go there every thing will go off with the hotel environment. Breakfast was very good ,Set menu, but more choices. Hotel owner offering some other free items for the breakfast. Thank you for all support which you given us .Recommended this hotel for all Trang An travelers.

It was everything we wanted after Hanoi’s busyness and noise. It’s a very quaint and peaceful property with a picturesque location. The rooms were clean and simple, with fast Wi-Fi, and an awesome shower. The pool was a very nice addition after a long day of site-seeing, and they offer free bicycle rental, which we utilised every day. They serve food too, which was more than adequate. We checked in initially for 2 nights, and added a 3rd night within 10 minutes, as we loved it immediately. Special thanks to Sam for his helpful tips each morning 😄

The resort is perfect for families and those who would like some privacy and quietness during their trip. Speaking for myself, I made the trip alone and although this place is perfect, I would prefer a place where I can meet a lot of tourist and also restaurants within short walking distance. The place is in a secluded place, although it is pretty convenient to book a grab transportation from and to the place anytime. The receptionist suggested a good place for me to spent half a day at bich dong pagoda, since I have spare time prior to a one whole day trip the next day. It was really a nice place. The resort offered to help you with everything that you may need.
